How We Care

Long Reef Surf Co believes that the beautiful oceans which surround us should be available to be enjoyed by all, both now and for future generations to come. We are committed to eco-conscious & sustainable practices, supporting our community and inclusiveness for all to enjoy the waters, no mater your ability, age, gender or race.

Supporting Our Community

With significant engagement in the local community, Long Reef Surf Co has proudly supported many local schools, events and non-profit organisations, particularly surf lifesaving clubs that rely on volunteers.

Notably, in the past 24-months, the owners have significantly donated business-generated profits & products to Long Reef Surf Life Saving Club as part of a major local sponsorship, and a variety of local primary schools, special needs schools, swimming, sailing, golf and other SLSC clubs.

Fostering Youth Surfing

In 2024 we were proud to be a primary sponsor of the Surfing NSW Junior Regional Series Surfing Titles held at Dee Why beach, supporting our local groms in a pathway to a professional surfing career.

We are so stoked to see the level of awesomeness of many of our local upcoming star surfers!

Commitment to Inclusivity

Long Reef Surf Co believes that the beautiful oceans which surround us should be able to be enjoyed by all - no matter your ability, age, gender or race.

To that end, we are committed to inclusiveness for all and we strive to offer products and services for any customer, whether you are a young kid just starting out, a seasoned surfer, a para surfer or those working on physical rehabilitation in the water.

Commitment to Sustainability

As lovers of our local beaches and environment, our commitment extends to a desire to lead the Australian surf sector to elevated heights of sustainability. We re-use or recycle 100% of our soft plastics, cardboard & paper and we regularly asses our suppliers for their commitment to a sustainable future.

We prioritise the sourcing of wetsuits and other products that are manufactured with sustainable practises, components and packaging. Some examples include Wetsuits made from natural rubber and recycled materials, Handplanes made from recycled ocean plastics and Reef Safe sunscreen in fully biodegradable containers.
